Horizontal Brace 42

Braces (longitudinal elements – horizontal elements usually positioned along the longer dimension of the working Scaffolding;

transverse elements – horizontal structural elements, usually positioned along the shorter dimension of the working Scaffolding ; these are the fundamental structural components of the modular Scaffolding.

Braces can serve the following functions:

– stiffening the Scaffolding construction,

– providing a base for mounting platforms,

– being part of the protective railing as handrails.

Horizontal braces "O" – with special heads featuring wedge locks on both ends – stiffen the Scaffolding construction along the platform (1) and together with the curb (3)

constitute part of the protective railing – as handrails (2).
